Baking With Blake – Ep 2 – MIXED BERRY COBBLER

 

Well folks, here is round 2 of Baking With Blake!  This time around he’s making a delicious Mixed Berry Cobbler!  It goes great topped with Homemade Whipped Cream.  So sit back and relax as you learn how to make your own Mixed Berry Cobbler!!!!

 

INGREDIENTS

  • 6 Cups Frozen Mixed Berries (Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries)
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1/4 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla
  • 2 -3 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Flour (for dusting work area)
  • 1 Pie Crust Thawed to Room Temperature

RECIPE

  1. Preheat Oven to 375
  2. Stretch Dough to match the size of your baking dish
  3. Let Dough Rest
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine Fruit, Vanilla, Flour, and Sugar
  5. Stir until well coated with no white showing
  6. Fill Baking Dish with Berries until the bottom is evenly covered
  7. Top with Molded Pie Crust
  8. Stab with a fork all over
  9. Whisk your eggs then brush on the Pie Dough
  10. Bake at 375 for 40 – 50 Minutes
  11. Remove from Oven
  12. Let Stand 10 Minutes
  13. Serve with Ice Cream and HOMEMADE WHIPPED CREAM
