Iceberg Avocado Salad

This is a light refreshing salad; I originally added a varietal of Olives from the Olive Bar in the grocery store.  I say to just use kalamata olives below, but don’t listen to me, go to the store and get some other types of olives, and oil preserved vegetables!  Anyways, great salad, enjoy!

SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/4 Head of Iceberg Lettuce (sliced into 6 pieces)
  • 1 Avocado
  • Some Thin Slices of Vidalia Onion
  • 8 – 10 Cherry Tomatoes Halved
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Kalamata Olives
  • 1 – 2 Tbsp of Italian Dressing per Salad

RECIPE

  1. Slice your Lettuce Wedge
  2. Cut the Avocado in Half, remove pit, slice into cubes
  3. Place Wedges on plate, top with Avocado
  4. Half the Cherry Tomatoes
  5. Slice the Onion thin and top the salads
  6. Chop and add your Kalamata Olive
  7. Add 1 Tbsp of Salad per Salad
  8. Season with Pepper to Taste
